Did you see our new wheels during the Lilac Parade? It could be yours!

Every May, Spokane hosts the Lilac Festival – a week-long celebration honoring our military, young people and the beauty of our region. This year’s festival weekend fell on May 17-20, with the Armed Forces Torchlight Parade on May 18.

The Lilac Parade is not only an opportunity to honor the great city of Spokane and each of it’s valuable community members, it’s also an opportunity for Hoopfest to debut it’s new ride!

“The Lilac Parade was a beautiful night for all of our Hoopfest marchers, and each was excited to be part of a long-time Spokane tradition. We had many parade watchers yelling that they would be the one winning the Toyota RAV4 at the Toyota shootout and loved how it was wrapped.” Says Keli Riley, Office Administrator.

Giving away a brand-new set of Hoopfest customized wheels wouldn’t be possible without the support and generosity of our Major Sponsor, Inland Empire Toyota Dealers.

“Having Toyota as a Major Sponsor elevates Spokane Hoopfest to the next level. We are excited to showcase this 2019 wrapped Rav4. Whoever wins this sweet ride better let the Hoopfest team take a ride,” says Director of Marketing and Business Development Morgan Marum.

Some of the amazing features from this year’s Toyota Shootoff Prize Car include:

  • Dynamic all-wheel drive
  • Multi-terrain select for improved traction up to 3500 lbs. towing capacity (Adventure Grade) Panoramic glass roof 7-inch multi-informational display Digital rearview mirror USB ports and wireless charging
  • Available hands-free power liftgate dual zone climate control
  • 8 airbags
  • 26/35 est. mpg*
    • *2019 preliminary mpg estimates determined by Toyota. EPA estimates not available at time of posting actual mileage will vary.

The Toyota Shootoff has become another favorite for our hoopers during tournament weekend.

This kind of passion for community betterment is the work that Hoopfest is proud to be a part of. Now that the Spokane Lilac Parade has come and gone, it’s time for us to push the ball in transition and get ready for the quarter of a million of you who will be in the streets with us!
