Stephen was born and raised in the Spokane area, and joined the Hoopfest team in November, 2022. Prior to that, he worked for Special Olympics Washington where he oversaw a team who planned and executed over 100 annual competitions consisting of 24 different sports. Stephen brings 9 years of event management experience to his current position as Site Director, and is excited to use that knowledge to ensure courts are ready to be played on every year during the last weekend in June.

Chad has been with Hoopfest since 2002. As Director of Staffing and Volunteers, Chad’s main task is to recruit and train the nearly 2,500 volunteers it takes to operate Hoopfest.

Jamie is a Whitworth Track & Field Alum as well as she completed her Master’s in Sport & Athletic Administration at Gonzaga University. She runs all of our media & communications as well as helps put together our Hoopfest Store. Find her over Hoopfest Weekend to get a shot at being featured on our Hoopfest Social Media!

LESLIE COGLEY

SPONSORSHIPS & PARTNERSHIPS MANAGER

Born and raised in Spokane, Leslie has always been passionate about supporting her hometown and helping it thrive. She graduated from Western Washington University with a BA in English and a double minor in psychology and technical writing. In October 2024, she joined the Hoopfest team as the Sponsorships Manager, where she helps steward relationships with funders and secures funding for Hoopfest and HYL. With a strong background in fundraising, Leslie loves supporting local efforts, giving back, and staying involved in the community.

Hooptown Youth League Coordinator

Graduating from Gonzaga University with a Masters in Sports & Athletic Administration, Josh has experience in sports programming and loves to be a part of the game! He works to coordinate all the little details of Hooptown Youth League to make sure it is the best it can be for our community’s youth!

Giff has not only helped managed our AAU program, High School Elite teams, and put together all of our tournaments throughout the year. For 20+ years Giff has served Hoopfest with continuous sincerity and attention to detail provide everyone with a better Hoopfest experience.
