The largest 3on3 outdoor basketball tournament on Earth located in Spokane, Washington. That means over 6,000 teams, 3,000 volunteers, 225,000 fans and 425 courts spanning 45 city blocks! Beyond basketball, it is an outdoor festival with shopping, food and interactive entertainment. #Hoopfest2024 is scheduled for June 29 & 30.
Hoopfest is a 3on3 streetball tournament, so the rules and regulations might be different than what you’re accustomed to using for organized, indoor basketball. Don’t worry though, you can get familiar with our rules here.
Hoopfest weekend brings in about a 47-million-dollar impact to the Inland Northwest every single June since 1990.
Hoopfest 2024 will be played on the streets of Spokane – June 29 & 30.
Each team is guaranteed a minimum of 3 games. Forfeits count towards this 3 game minimum.
Grades 1 & 2 will play on a 7′ basket.
Grades 3 & 4 will play on a 8′ basket.
All others will play on a 10′ basket.
Through the guaranteed deadline (May 19), the team fees are:

We will accept teams on a ‘space available’ basis from May 19 through June 2. Team fees increase $20 after June 2nd.

Please note: Absolutely no players may be added or changed after 8:00 a.m. Saturday.
No. You can build your team however you like. Keep in mind however, that it may not be possible to bracket teams with very diverse player characteristics against other teams of similar makeup. Youth and high school teams will be bracketed by grade-level according to the highest grade-level on the team. We will do our best to place teams in comparable brackets.
In order to guarantee your desired division, Hoopfest must receive your completed registration form on or before the guaranteed deadline is Friday, May 19th, 2024. After the guaranteed deadline, we will welcome your completed registration only on a space available basis through Sunday, June 2nd, 2024 which will be posted once registration opens.
Yes. Keep in mind, however, that co-ed teams must have members of the opposite sex on the court at all times. Therefore, on a team with three males and one female, the female would have to play the
No. Mixed-age youth teams will play at the level of the oldest team members. We will make every attempt to bracket teams such as this against other teams of similar makeup.
Select the grade that each player will be entering as of September 2024.
The same rule is used for high school as is used for grade school. The team will be placed with teams in the same grade level – for example, 9th graders as of September 2024 will play other 9th graders. However, if a team has 9th and 10th graders, they will be placed in a bracket that will include 10th graders.
Player Change Instructions:
A fourth player can be removed, a team may play with three players. If you are just removing the fourth player, no fee will be assessed.
PLEASE NOTE: Once you start the Online Player Change process, either adding a 4th player or changing a player (removing/adding), the process MUST be completed including the payment of the $15.00 fee at that time. If the process is not completed, the team’s information will revert to its original format at the end of the day.
Online player adds or changes will be permitted through the guaranteed deadline for team registration which will be May 19, 2024. Any player addition or player changes subsequently will be made utilization the paper form available on the website.

While some teams elect to recruit team sponsors to help cover the cost of registration, this is solely the responsibility of the team, as Hoopfest does not recruit or provide individual team sponsors. You or your business can receive a complimentary team entry by becoming a Hoopfest 2024 Court Sponsor.
There are four levels of sponsorship: Major, Official, Supporting and Court.

All volunteers receive a T-shirt. Court monitors will receive a package of Under Armour gear, including shoes.
Monitor check-in is the Thursday of Hoopfest weekend. The location will be announced later in the spring.
Yes. The training changes slightly every year, depending on points of emphasis. We require each monitor to attend one of the training sessions. You will receive a complete list of the training dates a month prior to Hoopfest.
All volunteers will be contacted by both email and postcard approximately 10-14 days prior to Hoopfest.
A little knowledge is helpful, but not required. We offer a full training seminar, plus courts where players call their own fouls. We have a court for every level of experience.
Hoopfest will provide small snacks and water, but it’s a good idea to bring your own food and water as well. Make sure to check the weather and bring a sunscreen or jacket if necessary.
No. We do provide our volunteers with a listing of available parking garages and other locations. In addition, we have the STA “Hoop Loop” that provides transportation from nearby parking lots downtown.

Registration for the Spokane Regional Club Basketball Season opens on Monday, August 26, 2024.
Guaranteed Registration closes Tuesday, October 1, 2024.
Spokane Regional Club Basketball will be offering divisions for both 7th and 8th grade boys and 7th and 8th grade girls.
The teams will be registered strictly based on the grade in school for that school year, as of September.
Any questions regarding grade level will be verified with the school listed by individual players.
Any player that is in a lower grade level may play up a grade level. A player cannot play down.
